CREATIVE FOR AUDACY ADVERTISERS
A reason to listen.
A reason to act.
Getting your business on the air is only part of the job. Your commercial needs to catch someone’s attention, make them care, and give them a clear reason to choose you over the competition.
I’m Skip Kelly, an audio producer, copywriter, and voice actor. I work with advertisers across the country to turn business goals into distinctive, persuasive campaigns.
If your Audacy rep sent you here then they’re already looking out for you, and they’re thinking beyond just booking a schedule. Here, you’ll get a level of personal attention and production expertise you’d expect to pay top dollar for at an agency. But, for Audacy advertisers it’s already included, with one goal: helping turn listeners into your customers.
My creative and production services are included with your Audacy advertising.
Some commercials follow a formula.
Yours should have a purpose.
“Say the phone number three times!”
“Use a big, booming voice!”
“Squeeze in every detail!”
Some outdated advertising advice has been passed around for so long that people mistake it for a rule. Following a familiar formula doesn’t necessarily mean you’re convincing people to buy.
I bring a modern, more thoughtful approach, shaped by decades of writing, performing, and producing commercials. Your business gets an original idea, a persuasive message, and production that makes every second of air time count.
You can hear the difference:
My first script for Apollo Heating, Air & Plumbing brought a… different personality to their advertising. The client had just recently added plumbing services to their business and wanted a memorable way to get the word out. Apollo reported so much recognition and positive feedback that they embedded the audio on their own website. The spot ran for nearly a year, and Apollo never went back to the old formula.
More markets. More stories.
What started with a group of Western markets expanded nationwide. As the work grew, Kia’s ad spend saw six-figure increases, representing roughly 40% growth year over year.
Both campaigns earned extended runs, with new scripts for additional cities and vehicles. I continued developing and producing the work as the scope grew.
